S.J Louis II grew up in Columbus, Georgia, where he spent most of his childhood following his passion for music. After Graduating from Johnson C. Smith University with a bachelor’s degree in Visual and Performing Arts he discovered his passion for writing, quoting:

“Even though I wrote a lot when I was younger, I never thought I’d be an author, I fell more into music. Then one day I saw the correlation in adding rhythm to a storyline, changing my views on expression as a whole.”

His first series, Fool of Knight, follows a pair as they attempt to fulfill all the requirements needed to leave a dangerous world. However, our nameless hero, “Fool”, isn’t sure if what’s waiting for him on the other side is better. Zelle, his appointed guide, puts him through a rollercoaster of emotions as she tries to lead him to a mysterious “ascending god” named Troy. How much can he uncover about Troy's intentions before coming face to face with the divine being?... Is ignorance bliss or the slope to his downfall?
